Floating homes by Dubai Properties Group to become a reality in Dubai by year-end

The city of Dubai leads the way in construction innovation. In 2016, Dubai Properties Group launched the project comprising a 12-kilometre promenade, water homes, floating restaurants and five palm tree-lined marinas. The first floating homes, from Finland, will be transported to Dubai by end of this year. 2017 will see the construction of the first ten water homes, two restaurants and a yacht club in the Business Bay. The Marasi Business Bay project will deliver these homes in the Dubai Canal ready for occupants. It is another exciting development for the city. The eyes of the world are on these new developments.

The construction of the floating homes

They are actually being made in Finland at this moment and will be assembled in Dubai. The first ten homes will be transported by sea and then placed in location. It is another great way that Dubai leads the world in construction technology. It uses some great skills and techniques that will come in useful in its future growth. Making best use of the environment around us to produce more accommodation is the ideal way to build for the future. Because of ideas like this, Dubai leads the way.
